The Bait Soldiers

Little soldiers, standing tall,
In D.C. streets, awaiting call.

Trump put them out, for all to see,
Hoping shots would make them flee.

He let folks carry guns so long,
While fear and anger made folks strong.

Of civil war, his words would chime,
Hoping soldiers met their crime.

He wanted them to then be shot,
A situation carefully wrought.

A target made, for every eye,
So others he could then decry.

If you wear the uniform, oh dear,
You were a target, filled with fear.

He roused the crowd, to strike you down,
To seize more power, in the town.
